Zum Jaegerthal in Bad Durkheim

Quiet and very nice service!

My husband and I were guests at the Gasthaus Jägerthal on July 14th, 2020. The online day ticket was not up to date. Nevertheless, the landlord was able to present us a pork steak with mushrooms, unfortunately a little spicy, and a cheese pancake, unfortunately a little spicy. There was a scalp hair on my steak that was definitely not mine. The landlord, when asked about it, replied: "It's not mine!" I don't know who is romping around in his kitchen without hygiene measures. An apology would have been the least. The toilets are not only dated but also dirty. The underside of the toilet seat probably hadn't seen a cleaning rag for a long time.

Super delicious, pork from the Wollsau, just good, you can only recommend it, pancakes with asparagus very good and the price is right !!!

Simple and good place, one can recommend without hesitation.

My family was there to eat with me when I was a child. Every now and then I go there from Bruchsal to eat. Last year I was there for dinner with my girlfriend and I have to say: he has always kept his friendliness, high quality and great taste and never made compromises to reduce them. Everything freshly made. For decades that I have experienced myself.

We are there regularly and can only report well. The food is lovingly prepared and tastes really good. The landlord is super hospitable. The service is always super friendly. We look forward to returning soon.

Very nice and attentive service. The food was excellent and everything is fresh! From the outside and inside, it looks a bit dated, but the palate is spoiled and the wallet is spared. We recommend.

The food used is of high quality (e.g. meat from the woolly pork, really good fish on Fridays), and if you order schnitzel, you can hear it being knocked in the kitchen, not just the sound of opening the freezer. In the garden you sit behind the house, away from the street and the traffic in great calm. There are restaurants that seem more inviting, but if you Choosing the daily meal for € 7.50 is much more than just good service. The boss cooks himself here, and he not only learned his trade, he can even do it :-). Simple dishes are prepared very tasty. One has the impression that he is cooking for himself and has something left over: authentic.
